There’s never been a better time to join the Ponsonby whānau! As we ride the wave of our 150th Anniversary celebrations, we invite you to be part of the next generation of club legends. Every Saturday morning, our junior teams create their own slice of history — and your child could be next.
With a record 52 Auckland Championships (including 36 Gallaher Shield titles) and 12 Women's Championships (including four Coleman Shields), Ponsonby's Commitment to excellence runs deep. Our proud legacy includes producing generations of All Blacks and Black Ferns, reflecting a club that consistently performs at the highest level of the game. Our alumni feature current All Blacks Rieko Ioane, Patrick Tuipulotu, Stephen Perofeta and Caleb Clarke, alongside current Black Ferns Sylvia Brunt and Theresa Setephano (nee Fitzpatrick).
We continue to aspire to be world class at every level - from grassroots junior rugby through to our Premier Men's and Women's teams - nurturing talent, building character, and creating an environment where players, coaches volunteers abd families thriove together.
